Coaching Boys Into Men Training

January 13 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Registration for January 13th 2026 CBIM Coaches Training

Calling all boys’ sports coaches in Lanark CountyJoin advocates from Lanark County Interval House for our January 2026 Coaching Boys into Men (CBIM) program training.

CBIM is an evidence-based, coach-led violence prevention program for athletes aged 12–18. This program is endorsed by the Coaches Association of Ontario and qualifies for NCCP professional development points.
CBIM empowers coaches to use their trusted leadership role to foster respect, leadership, and positive team culture that extends beyond the game. At LCIHCS, we support women and children impacted by gender-based violence, and CBIM is part of our work to prevent this violence before it starts.
Through simple weekly talking points integrated into regular practice time, the program helps coaches model and lead important conversations about respect, inclusion, and healthy relationships.
Join us in Carleton Place on January 13th 2026 from 6pm until 8pm to learn how you can implement this program into your team practices this season. Interested in having us come to you to train all of the coaches in your association? Please reach out via the contact information below and we can set something up.

Any questions? Please contact Sadie Kotze, Public Education Coordinator at Lanark County Interval House, at sadie.kotze@lcih.com or 613-257-3467.
