The truth is, without the ongoing and stellar support of community members we would not be honouring our 40th year of service. As a community, we have come together to show that survivors of gender-based violence are important and we will do the hard work needed to support them.

The As Good As New store and local individuals give LCIHCS the much needed support for programs that don’t currently have dedicated dollars including the Volunteer Program, the Public Education Program, Communications and Resource Development.

Thanks to business leadership, with Tiree in the lead role, we were able to open Second Stage Housing with no formal ongoing funding support. Local businesses, Rotarians, and members of our caring community have supported the launch and success of this much needed housing alternative.

We are grateful for the collaborative supports that make Lanark County Interval House & Community Support a community asset, and a solid and dependable service for our community. If you want to be a part of making Lanark County a safe place for women and children, get in touch with us!
