At our shelter, we can provide:
- Warm clothes and food
- Counseling & Support
- Help with housing, legal, and financial concerns
- Support for your children
- A sense of safety
If transportation is an issue for you, we can help you find and pay for safe transportation to our shelter.
Our shelter has 7 bedrooms, each with a private full bathroom. The shared space features an open-concept kitchen which looks onto a children’s playroom, quaint living room and quiet room for relaxation, a private counseling office, and a fun activity room equipped with all the latest toys for women and children alike.
Our shelter is accessible with a bedroom, bathroom and shared spaces on the first floor as well as a wheelchair accessible elevator to access other floors. You can read more about our accessibility here.
Our Shelter is truly a lovely place for you to feel safe.
Once you are here, our Transitional Support program will support you in your transition from our shelter safely into our community. Our staff will provide support with legal statements, housing and financial applications, safety planning, and transition planning (for example, plans for education, employment, and activities). We will also provide referrals to other resources in our community, including our Community Programs.
