We are saddened and outraged by this shocking act of hate against humanity. Saturday in small town rural Lanark County, we proudly celebrated the richness and diversity of “being” in our community. Sunday we awakened to the horror of mass murder targeted at the LGBTQ2 community. Hate is a powerful tool but uniting in solidarity is greater. LCIH stands United in solidarity with all LGBTQ2 communities and will continue to challenge the barriers to Equality for All. LCIH will support efforts to host a local vigil while supporting vigils across all communities.
