Marked annually on March 8, IWD is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
Doors open at 8 a.m. with coffee, buffet breakfast to follow. Then settle in to hear from Michelle Foxton, lawyer, small business owner and community advocate talk about “Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges: Women Leading Change in Lanark-Frontenac”
Our breakfast is open to everyone — let’s gather to acknowledge what has been accomplished as well as the work that still needs to be done to achieve a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
