We hope that you will be able to join us.  \nIn accordance with LCIHCS bylaws\, to be a voting participant at our Annual General Meeting\, you are required to be a member and have paid the $5 fee no less than one month before the date of our meeting.  \nBy becoming a member of Lanark County Interval House and Community Support\, you add your voice and support to the needs of your local community. You become engaged and a part of the movement to end all forms of violence against women and girls.  \nPlease consider joining us for our annual update to our community on the work we are doing and the business aspects of our agency.  \nIf you have any questions\, or require further information\, please do not hesitate to contact the agency directly or via our website www.lcih.org.

DESCRIPTION:What to expect at the Lanark County Interval House Blow Out Sale?\nThe LCIH Bridal Blow Out sale will be a one time event.   As the brides arrive they will be given a number. Only 20 brides at a time will be allowed into the bridal dress area.   Once a bride leaves another number will be called by the hostess. \nIs this event a fundraiser?  How will the funds be used from this event? \nThis event is a fundraiser and all proceeds will go directly into supporting the needs of women and children fleeing a life of violence. \nWhy is Lanark County Interval Hosting this event?\nThe dresses for this event have been generously donated to Lanark County Interval House in order to support this fundraising opportunity.  Our organization believes in kind and respectful relationships. \nWhat is the cost of the dresses and why this amount?\nAll bridal gowns will be $140 and bridesmaid gowns will be $64.   We understand that a wedding can be expensive and we want to offer the women good value.   The 4’s in the amount represent the fact that LCIH has been in service for 40 years in 2019. \nWho are the sponsors of this event?\nLanark County Interval House is fortunate to have all the gowns donated by Renew with Love Bridal Boutique.   The venue for the event is sponsored by the Grand Hotel in Carleton Place. Our advertising\, promotion and event partner is Metroland Media. \nWhat brands of wedding gowns can I expect to see at the sale? \nWhat sizes will be available? \nAre there any pictures of the dresses available? \nAre the dresses new or used? \nThe dress have not been worn but are sample or display model dresses.   There may be some imperfections such as a button missing or a hem down. \nWhat should I wear to the sale?   We ask that you do not wear make-up in order prevent transfer to the gown and that you wear tights a camesoul so you can easily slip a dress on quickly. \nWho should I bring with me?   Please bring only one person with you and we ask that you do not bring children or strollers. \nCan I buy more than one dress?  Yes you can buy as many dresses as you like.   At this low price you can buy two and have your semestress make a one of a kind dress out of both. \nHow much are the dresses?\nThe bridal gowns will be $140 and the bridesmaid/prom dress will be $74.   All taxes are included\, this is a cash and carry event only. No debit. \nHow will I pay? \nCash only\, no credit\, debit or cheques accepted. \nCan I return or exchange a dress once I have paid for it?\nNo\, all dresses are final sale. \nWill there be a change area for trying dresses on? \nThere will be a draped off open area for changing.   We recommend you come prepared to try your dress on in the company of others. \nWhat can I expect from this shopping experience? \nThere will be volunteer ladies on hand to assist you with the dresses.  They will be there to help you look for a size or help you slip one on.
